We are supporting
Turkey’s most vulnerable

Since 2014, we have been helping displaced people and refugees in Turkey by implementing education and empowerment programs to create sustainable change.

“We wanted to create a community free of political and religious considerations. To give the opportunity for anyone, regardless of their background, to contribute with their skills and time to help those in need.

All human beings are equal and deserve to be treated as such. Our philosophy is that empathy makes us human and it is this idea that guides all our actions. Give what you can, take what you need and care for each other .”

Ali Güray Yalvaçli – Founder of Imece

The 2020 health crisis has affected our organization. As a small organization, we rely entirely on the generosity of our donors and on-site volunteers in Turkey. The pandemic taught us that during a crisis the most vulnerable are often hit the hardest. But together we are stronger.

To enable our charity’s current projects’ survival and to help us rebuild more solidly, WE NEED YOU! Here is how your donations can make a difference:

  • 5€ : contributes to school supplies (stationery, books) for the refugee children of the “Back to School” program
  • 15€ : pays for 2 food packs for displaced families (= 22kg food supplies)
  • 50€ : partially covers the salary of a “Solar Age” program teacher

Empathy makes us human
